About the project “Modernization of the Vocational Education and Training System”
The Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education implemented the ESF project “Modernization of the Vocational Education and Training System” from November 2017 to September 2023, with a total value of 17,693,850.91 EUR. This project aimed at modernizing vocational education in Croatia, and developing new vocational curricula with a strong link to labour market needs through established occupational standards and qualification standards in accordance with the Croatian Qualifications Framework (CROQF).
A key result of the project is the development and introduction of more than 100 new vocational curricula based on vocational qualification standards for levels 4.1 and 4.2. The project results are utilized at the national level.
Our role
Profil Klett Ltd. participated in the project as a service provider responsible for creating additional educational materials for sets of learning outcomes related to vocational qualification standards for CROQF levels 4.1 and 4.2.
Specifically, as part of the project, we developed 990 manuals (additional educational materials) across 9 sectoral areas as follows:
- 94 manuals in the Agriculture sector
- 117 in the Forestry sector
- 63 in the Geodesy and Geoinformatics sector
- 102 in the Computing sector
- 111 in the Economics sector
- 33 in the Tourism sector
- 137 in the Law, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, and Public Affairs sector
- 214 in the Wood Technology sector
- 119 in the Food sector.
