About the project
The GrowWell project aims to empower young learners in developing resilience and emotional well-being. Through a consortium of partners from Croatia, Serbia, Belgium, and Ireland, including an EdTech company, a university, a kindergarten, an NGO, and an educational institution, we will research and compare social and emotional learning (SEL) and curricula across partner countries, develop guidelines for content creation, and produce innovative SEL materials addressing 12 topics related to well-being for preschool children and institutions.
We will pilot and test the educational toolkits, combining animations and downloadable materials in kindergartens across countries, evaluate their implementation, and develop training content for preschool educators and parents/guardians. Educators, parents, and guardians will be trained on mindfulness, well-being, and using SEL resources in classrooms and at home to help children build resilience.
A structured training and dissemination strategy will ensure long-term impact and sustainability. At least 100 educators and 300 parents will participate in SEL training sessions, supported by a Train-the-Trainer programme preparing 15 local trainers to deliver SEL training beyond the project’s duration. Feedback from implementation will guide improvements to materials and methods.
Finally, the project will promote its results through a digital dissemination campaign and produce a concise policy recommendation report offering practical guidelines for integrating SEL into early childhood education. This will support the broader adoption of SEL-focused digital materials and influence education policies across Europe.
Our role
Profil Klett is a key partner in the GrowWell project, responsible for the creation of digital content. Our team will play a central role in developing 12 animations focused on SEL topics and hosting all materials on its IZZI platform. Profil Klett will also lead the translation and localisation process to ensure that all materials are available in four partner languages, resulting in a total of 48 animations and 48 corresponding sets of SEL materials. Additionally, Profil Klett will contribute to the development of educator training by designing modules that guide educators in using digital tools and AI for content creation.
