About the project “Establishment of the Regional Center of Competence for Innovative Health Technologies at the Varaždin Medical School”
Through this project, the Regional Center of Competence (RCC) at the Varaždin School of Medicine established a new organizational structure, intensified cooperation with relevant stakeholders, and enhanced the knowledge, skills, and competencies of educational workers for the development, improvement, and implementation of regular vocational education programs and adult education programs. Additionally, the RCC at the Varaždin School of Medicine has been equipped with specialized equipment for theoretical and practical teaching, laboratory and clinical exercises, aiming to achieve the agility of the RCC’s educational system in response to labor market needs in the healthcare sector and to profile future workers with practical knowledge.
Our role
As part of the project, we took on the role of service provider for the professional development of teachers at the Regional Center of Competence at the Varaždin School of Medicine. Our service included the preparation and implementation of training on creating digital educational materials, the development of two competency models, and the assessment of general competencies and leadership and management competencies. Based on the results of the competency assessment, we prepared and conducted professional development training for teachers.
