About the project
The project’s goal is to enhance the learning experience of individuals with disabilities by developing inclusive digital resources. This initiative involves a collaborative effort among partners from Croatia, Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, Iceland, Norway, Ireland, and Australia, comprising an EdTech company, universities, schools catering to students with special educational needs (SEN), public authorities, and NGOs. Together, the partners will assess and compare existing programs, create innovative digital tools, and generate high-quality educational content in digital format.
Throughout this project, we will pilot, test, and evaluate digital materials based on feedback from learners, educators, and experts. The culmination of scientific evaluations will result in an inclusive digital education toolkit. This toolkit will offer guidance and instructions for anyone utilizing digital educational materials for children with SEN, ensuring a user-centered design approach to cater to learners with diverse disabilities. Continuous refinement through an iterative process will lead to the development of effective and engaging digital materials.
Additionally, the project will provide training opportunities for educators to effectively integrate these digital resources into their teaching practices. Anticipated outcomes include a sophisticated collection of digital learning materials, enhanced teacher capacities, and an inclusive digital education toolkit for policymakers and educational institutions. The project’s findings and outcomes will be disseminated through various platforms to raise awareness among policymakers, educational institutions, and the public about the significance of inclusive digital materials for learners with disabilities.
Ultimately, the project will directly benefit participating schools and their students while also making a broader impact on the often-overlooked demographic of children with disabilities, their educators, and the wider academic community through research outputs derived from this project.
Our role
Profil Klett is coordinating the project and oversees project management and coordination. The development of digital educational content for learners with disabilities will result in 45 ready-to-use digital units created, each with at least 5 editable templates. Profil Klett will also conduct a Train the Trainer Programme.
