Supporting Social and Emotional Learning from an Early Age
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is essential for laying the foundations of mental health, emotional resilience, and the building of healthy relationships from an early age. To provide comprehensive support to early childhood educators and parents, the project has developed a specialized educational portal offering a wide array of resources.
Explore 12 Core SEL Themes
The newly launched portal provides access to the following materials, structured around 12 core SEL themes:
- Short animated videos designed to introduce children to specific topics.
- Comprehensive guidelines for guided discussions, alongside manuals tailored for both educators and parents.
- Practical proposals for experiential learning and outdoor activities.
- Printable educational materials, including worksheets, flashcards, and posters to further support the learning process.
Profil Klett’s Contribution to the Video Content
As part of the project, Profil Klett played a key role in the development and editing of the animated video content created to introduce children to social and emotional learning topics in an engaging and age-appropriate way. The animations bring the project’s SEL themes to life through simple stories and relatable situations, making them accessible and engaging for young children.
The videos are available on the GrowWell Learning Portal and on the project’s official YouTube channel.
Free Resources in Four Languages
All developed resources are completely free of charge, require no prior registration, and are accessible in four languages: Croatian, English, German, and Serbian.
