This week, we proudly celebrate Girls in Digital Week, a dedicated initiative aimed at empowering girls with digital skills, coding knowledge, and encouraging them to explore STEM careers. Girls in Digital Week takes place as part of the EU Code Week initiative.
Throughout the week, in collaboration with our amazing partners, we’re hosting various workshops, talks, and hands-on activities designed to:
- Promote digital literacy and technical skills among girls
- Connect young minds with inspirational female role models in STEM
- Create opportunities for practical learning and exploring new technologies
- Break stereotypes and inspire more girls to pursue careers in ICT, engineering, and digital innovation
Despite the growing demand for digital skills in the job market, girls remain underrepresented in STEM careers. Through Girls in Digital Week, we aim to show that tech and digital skills are not only essential but can also be fun, creative, and accessible to everyone.
