Would you like to introduce students to digital and STEM careers in a way that is practical, easy to understand, and connected to the real world of work? At the same time, you can strengthen collaboration between schools and higher education institutions.
You can learn simple guidelines and ideas on how to achieve this at a webinar presenting the Discover Digital Programme, developed within the EU Code Week initiative. The programme focuses on connecting educational institutions with students and provides tools for a structured approach to fostering interest in digital careers.
The webinar will take place on 6 May 2026 at 15:30 via MS Teams. Participation is free of charge, with prior registration required via the link above.
The programme offers practical guidance and examples of activities that help students better understand the opportunities available in the digital environment and make more informed decisions about their future education.
During the event, examples of activities such as visits by higher education institutions to schools and student visits to university campuses will be presented, along with key insights from research and recommendations for adapting these activities to different educational contexts.
The event is intended for higher education institutions, teachers, school leaders and counsellors in secondary education, as well as anyone involved in developing digital skills and supporting young people in their career choices.
This event is organised by partners of the EU Code Week consortium, including Profil Klett, which participates in the Code4Europe project as a partner and regional hub for the EU Code Week initiative in Croatia and Slovenia.
